Literacy Society of the North Okanagan Programs

A little extra support can go a long way. Skills Boost is an after school small group program that provides high interest activities with literacy and numeracy embedded in the projects. Designed to give a boost of confidence and build enthusiasm for learning.

Digital support is provided through small-group workshops and one to one appointments with a trained volunteer. We help adults connect with family and friends, access important services, and how to navigate the digital world.

Whether it is a Story-Window walk, Financial Literacy, Literacy at Play, Books for Babies, or our Outreach program!
We have something that will suit your needs.

The Reading Together program provides one to one support with reading for elementary children. Help improve children’s literacy in the community, join our volunteer team and help children become more confident readers!
